英譯漢第一篇選自《紐約時報》2010/12/08/，原文標題為：Translation as Literary Ambassador 翻譯扮演文學大使的角色

二級實務英譯漢部分仍然是節選《紐約時報》的文章。然而此次所選的語篇出現的翻譯考點要比以往命題更加專業化，從譯法上有了明確的要求。第一篇的主題講述了非英語國家的文學作品被翻譯成英文版后在美國出版發行的難度以及出版商為之而做出的不懈努力。
