Hope, hope, where can I find hope?

Between the collapse of two waves,
在兩個(gè)海浪的破滅之間，
Between two rippled peaks,
在兩個(gè)波峰之間，
And in the valley of waves, there hides hope.
在波谷里蘊(yùn)藏著希望。
If hope's peak never sinks into valleys,

Sea shall lose its existence, for a waveless sea is
海洋將失去生命，沒(méi)有波濤的海洋，
A breathless bosom that breathes nothing but death,
是沒(méi)有呼吸的胸膛，沒(méi)有呼吸的胸膛，
No matter how heroic, how grand it appears.
再雄壯，再魁偉，也是死，寂靜的死。
History falls from crest to trough,
歷史從一個(gè)波峰跌入一個(gè)波谷，
And from trough rises to crest again.
又從一個(gè)波谷升上一個(gè)波峰，
Hope is our helmsman
希望是我們的掌舵者，
When we sink into the rippled valley.
當(dāng)我們跌入一個(gè)波谷。
Wall of waves seeks to bury our small craft,
浪墻想把我們的小舟埋葬，
And dashed hopes seek to toss us into the abyss.
希望想把我們卷入深淵，
We've climbed atop the billowing peak.
但我們終又爬上新的波峰，
Let red sun fill the cabin, sea breeze fill the sail.
讓紅日照滿(mǎn)船艙，海風(fēng)吹滿(mǎn)船帆。
