　　副詞性后綴：

　　-ly “地”e.g. completely (complete + ly)完全地, really (real + ly)真正地

　　-ward/-wards “向” e.g. backward (back + ward)向后, upward(up + ward)向上

　　-wise “像的， 有。。特征”e.g. clockwise (clock + wise)順時針的 , likewise (like + wise)同樣地

　　作為基本詞匯的副詞在職稱英語的詞匯考題中也是頻繁出現(以綜合類的考題為例)：

　　在2002年職稱英語詞匯題部分出現：rarely(C), deliberately(B);

　　在2003年職稱英語詞匯題部分出現：evidently(C), up to now(B), accordingly(B), intimately(B), steadily (A)

　　在2004年職稱英語詞匯題C級：highly (very), merely (just), lately (recently)

　　在2004年職稱英語詞匯題B級：lately (recently), wholly (completely), notably (remarkably)

　　在2004年職稱英語詞匯題A級：notably (remarkably)

　　從上面對02年到04年詞匯題中所考察的副詞來看，詞匯題通常有1-3個題是對副詞進行考察， B級和C級所考察的副詞通常都是常見的副詞(包括程度副詞e.g. highly，wholly， merely ， 否定副詞 e.g. rarely和邏輯副詞e.g. accordingly)， 在B級和A級的考題中增加了對通過派生法所形成的副詞的考察。

　　在復習中我們要掌握較常用有否定副詞(如：not, nor, neither, never, rarely, hardly, scarcely, seldom, far from等)，邏輯副詞(如：however, moreover, therefore, otherwise等)，還有作時間狀語和地點狀語的副詞(如：here, there, today, yesterday, now等)等。在文章閱讀部分主要對邏輯，程度副詞，表示時間/地點副詞進行考察。如：2003年理工類C級中的閱讀理解題中：(London’s first light rail system)
