6. The variety of (大量的)things put up(過分作后置定語) for(提供以提供) sale is really wonderful.
7. Rising living costs(生活費用) are considered by almost everyone as a reason both for holding sales and for attending them.
8. Garage sales have become suburban social events， drawing people of all ages.(劃線部分為現(xiàn)在分詞作狀語，之所以用drawing是因為主語Garage sales 可以發(fā)出draw吸引的動作)
9. Neighbors enjoy meeting new people. Enjoy這個動詞后只能用ving動名詞來作賓語。
10. They spend their weekends going from sale to sale， hoping to run across a real treasure(hoping為現(xiàn)在分詞作狀語，之所以用ving是因為they能發(fā)出hope的動詞)

2. Be urged to do sth. 被催促作某事/動詞詞組
3. Sth. is confusing to sb. 什么事情很是令某人迷惑
4. Choose from 從什么中選取/動詞詞組

6. Be likely to do sth. 很可能作某事/形容詞詞組
7. Refer to 指的是/動詞詞組(to 是介詞)
8. A great quantity of sth.(可數(shù)名詞) 大量的
9. Be known for sth. 以什么而著名/動詞詞組
10. Majority of sth. 大多數(shù)的
語言點：
1. In the United States you will find yourself being urged(現(xiàn)在分詞作賓語補足語) to buy all kinds of goods.
2. Not only 放在句首，需要倒裝：
Not only is there a wide range of prices for goods in America， there is also a wide range in the quality of goods offered for sale.
原句：There is not only a wide range of prices for goods in America， there is also a wide range in the quality of goods offered for sale.
Not only are you my teacher， but also you are my friend.
原句：You are not only my teacher， but also you are my friend.
3. Americans generally pay the price of a product without question， instead of trying to get a lower price by bargain.(介詞后面需要有動詞的ing形式來作介詞的賓語)
4. Lower： 可以是adj.的比較級;也可以是v.表示降低
5. This may all be confusing to the visitor. (系動詞后是現(xiàn)在分詞作表語;之所以用ving是因為我們要考慮這件事情“令人迷惑”)
6. Read the advertisements so that you can compare prices.(so that 是因此的意思，表結(jié)果狀語從句)
7. They don't offer the same services to buyers that department stores do.(定語從句中缺賓語可以用that)
8. Limit(v.限制)-limited(adj.受限的);expensive――inexpensive
9. Usually run by a small number of salespeople， these shops offer products that range from inexpensive to very expensive， depending on the shop.
10. One of the most interesting sections to visit is the frozen food section.(過分作定語)
