數詞的定義: 表示"多少"和"第幾"的詞,叫數詞。其用法相當于名詞或者形容詞。數詞分為基數詞和序數詞兩種。$lesson$
基數詞: 表示數目的詞是基數詞,最基本的數詞如下:轉自環 球 網 校edu24ol.com
1 one, 2 two, 3 three, 4 four, 5 five, 6 six, 7 seven, 8 eight, 9 nine, 10 ten, 11 eleven, 12 twelve, 13 thirteen, 14 fourteen, 15 fifteen, 16 sixteen, 17 seventeen, 18 eighteen, 19 nineteen, 20 twenty, 30 thirty, 40 forty, 50 fifty, 60 sixty, 70 seventy, 80 eighty, 90 ninety, 100 a hundred, 1,000 a thousand, 1,000,000 a million, 1,000,000,000 a billion.
基數詞 1-12 是獨立單詞,需逐個記憶?；鶖翟~13 - 19是個位數詞的詞干后加-teen 構成。其中 thirteen, fifteen, eighteen, 變化不規則。基數詞 20 ━90 是在十位數詞后面加 -ty 構成?；鶖翟~ 21 ━ 99 是在十位數詞后面加上個位數詞合成,中間加上連字符 " ━ " 。 例如:
21 twenty ━ one 95 ninety ━ five
基數詞三位以上的數詞, 在百位和十位之間,一般要用連詞"and "。 例如:
132 one hundred and thirty ━ two.
1340 one thousand three hundred and forty
表示"萬"的詞英語中沒有.如1萬可用10千來表示。 ten thousand. 30萬可用 three hundred thousand 來表示。
基數詞的用法:
從句子成分上分析,基數詞在句中可用作主語,賓語, 表語等。
Four of them went to the factory.
他們四個人去了工廠。 (主語)
I want two. 我要兩個。 (賓語)
There are thirty classroom in our school.
我們學校有三十個教室。
My classmate is eighteen.
我的同學十八歲。
He is only three, and he can't dress himself.
他只有三歲，不會穿衣服。
從事物內容上分析,基數詞用在下列情況。
1) 編號的事物用基數詞:
Today we are going to study Lesson Five.
今天我們要學習第五課。
Please open your books at page ten.
請打開書，翻到十頁。
We live in Room 101.
我們住在101房間。

他們在二十八中學校學習。
2) 表示"年,月,日" 時用基數詞。
The accident took place in 1982.
這次事故發生在一九八二年。
I was born in Oct.11,1956.
我出生在一九五六年，十月，十一日。
You could see many flowers in june.
六月份你可以看到好多花。
3) 表示 "幾點鐘, 幾點過幾分" 用基數詞。
It's three o'clock.
現在是三點鐘。
It is two to two.
現在是兩點差兩分。
We arrived in Beijing at five to seven.
我們七點差五分到達北京。
4) 用于加減乘除的數字用基數詞。
One plus two is three.
一加二等于五。
Eight minus four is four.
八減四等于四。
Two times two is four.
二乘二等于四。
Ten divided by two is five.
十除以二等于五。
5) 表示大幾倍或者小幾倍用基數詞。
This river is two times longer than that one.
這條河比那條河長兩倍。
This box is five times less than that one.
這個盒子比那個盒子小五倍。
Five times six is thirty.
五乘以六得三十。
6) 表示百分數用基數詞.
Thirty percent of them is water.
它們當中有30%的水。
Eighty percent of what he said is true.
他的話有80%是真實的。
7) 表示分數時,分子數字用基數詞, 但分母要用序數詞, 如分子不是1,序數詞要用復數形式。
One-fifth of the books are mine.
三分之一的書是我的。
Three-tenths of water is disappeared.
十分之三的水不見了。
8) 表示有小數的詞用基數詞。
5.5 five point five
12.135 twelve point one three five
