動名詞是非謂語動詞的一種，它是由動詞原形+ing構成，它有名詞和動詞的特征。
1. 動名詞作主語
Interpreting figures is an important part of the accountant's function. 解釋數據是會計職能的一個重要部分。
Determining the least costly way to produce a specific quantity of output occupies much of the time of managers. 設法以最低成本生產定量產品要耗費管理者大量時間。
