Even though some might not be as talented in field of drawing or painting, I still think that my future child should learn to draw or paint. Firstly, when a child is small, a lot of potentials are waiting to be discovered. If we do not try teaching him to draw or paint, the potential might go unnoticed. Even when a child has little potential in the area, practicing drawing or painting is good for the development of his right side of the brain. Observing the subject, drawing the outline, and playing with the colors are not only fun, but also inspiring. I believe that the kids enjoy doing it too. Last but not least, learning is a life long subject. Discovering about more subjects is always the right thing to do, thus young kids should be encouraged to try everything as least once.
