　　22. although ，though 這組詞都有 “雖然” 之意，均不能與but連用，但可以加yet，still 等詞以增強(qiáng)語氣。

　　although： “盡管、雖然”;：只作conj. (連詞) ，較正式，“出人意外的” 這種含義也更強(qiáng)，一般情況下可以用though替代。沒有固定的搭配。

　　He passed the examination although he had been prevented by illnees from studying. “雖然他曾因病耽誤了學(xué)習(xí)，但他考試還是及格了?！?/P>

　　Although he was seriously wounded , yet he refused to quit the battle line. “他雖然身負(fù)重傷，但堅(jiān)持不下火線。

　　though： “雖然、盡管、即使”，(conj. ) 還可與even 連用，even though即使、縱然。作副詞時(shí)，不能置于句首，譯作：“然而、不過” 相當(dāng)于nevertheless

　　l can see that New York must seem dull to her though the family won’t admit it，。我看得出來紐約對(duì)她來說一定很單調(diào)乏味，雖然家里人不承認(rèn)這一點(diǎn)。

　　She won't leave the TV set , even though her husband is waiting for his supper. “即使丈夫等著吃晚飯，她也不愿離開電視機(jī)。”
