您好！第一題選擇A是因為...a letter of refusal came, which she was certainly wasn't expecting是一個完整句，只不過其中有一個定語從句來修飾letter而已，但是如果選擇B的話，這個句子就應該是個復合句，即當....時，......。這樣一個句式，而且從意思上來講：Janet 很確信自己得到那個工作了，然后一封令她意想不到的拒絕信居然來了。這樣更通一些。第三題：e used to do sth 指過去常常做什么，而be used to doing sth 指的是習慣于做什么。本題當中選擇D。第五題：這里應該用will的過去式即would. 翻譯如下：簡還欠你的錢了嗎？她說她會還，但是她沒還。
